banner ads

A web banner or banner ad is a form of advertising on the World Wide Web. This form of online advertising entails embedding an advertisement into a web page. It is intended to attract traffic to a website by linking to the website of the advertiser. The advertisement is constructed from an image (GIF, JPEG, PNG), JavaScript program or multimedia object employing technologies such as Flash, often employing animation, sound, or video to maximize presence. Many companies use a form of PPC (Pay Per Click) technology to gain a presense on the web making it possible to stir traffic onto a targeted website. The following banner ads were created during my employment with Epraxa.

Software and Languages used: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Flash + Animatinon, Actionscript, Adobe Dreamweaver, HTML

Worked with an ad agency in creating these animated banners. Discussed design concept and animation with graphic designers and account executives. My duties were then to animate and apply actionscript to the flash banners and have them ready-made for the web. View more banner ad work here.
